Everything you need to know before your first lesson.
Not at all! We welcome complete beginners. Our instructors will match you with the right lesson level and a calm, well-trained horse suited to your experience.
We recommend long pants (jeans are fine), closed-toe shoes with a small heel, and comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Helmets are provided for safety.
Most lessons are 45–60 minutes. Your instructor will confirm the exact duration when you book.
Yes — please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your lesson to avoid a cancellation fee.
Our instructors match each rider with a horse suited to their age, experience level, and goals. You can request a specific horse when booking.
We welcome riders from around 6 years old. Contact us if you have questions about younger riders.

Horse Powered Learning (NDIS)

Building life skills, confidence and emotional wellbeing through guided time with horses: groundwork, observation and connection, with riding only when ready. Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS funding can cover it. No horse experience needed.
School holiday half-day camp
$240
180 minutes · Private or group · up to 5 riders
Three hours of riding and horse activities for up to 5 riders aged 5 and up, beginners to experienced: horse hire, a bush ride and morning or afternoon tea. Price per rider.
Prices include GST. Lessons are booked online and are subject to instructor and school horse availability.
